Staying true to eco lodging, the tents are fully insulated, energy-efficient, and equipped with water conservation fixtures. In addition, the toiletries provided to guests are also ecologically-friendly and biodegradable.
Guests will enjoy dining in Backland's restaurant, which features gourmet farm-to-table style cuisine. The restaurant has both indoor seating with panoramic views and covered outdoor seating which is integrated with a fire ring and beach-side event patio.
Backland's on-site amenities and activities will keep guests engaged in the beautiful surroundings. An 8-acre pond provides both a bird sanctuary and a water recreation area. Water activities include fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding or just lounging on the sandy beach. Guests can also take advantage of four miles of onsite nature trails or explore endless hiking or e-biking in the adjacent national forest. Local hikes include the spectacular Sycamore Canyon and Sycamore Falls. Horseback riding takes the Backland experience to a new level with various riding experiences available.
