CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Mar 16, 2016) - Jaguar Resources Inc. ("Jaguar" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:JRI) announces that it has been successful in its applications to the Alberta Securities Commission, as principle regulator, and the British Columbia Securities Commission, to revoke the cease trade orders issued on May 6 and May 8, 2015, respectively (the "Cease Trade Orders"). The Cease Trade Orders were issued as a result of the Company's failure to file its annual audited financial statements, annual management's discussion and analysis and certification of its annual filings for the year ended December 31, 2014, which filings were made on February 22, 2016. The Company intends to file a reinstatement application with the TSX Venture Exchange forthwith.

As part of its corporate strategy of acquiring additional assets, the Company is in the process of evaluating several potential transactions which individually or together could be material. The Company cannot predict whether any current or future potential opportunities will result in one or more transactions involving the Company. The Company may issue equity or utilise debt facilities to finance all or a portion of any such potential acquisitions and or drilling programs on its Saskatchewan lands.
