Cleantech Open Attends White House Water Summit and Launches Water-Technology Accelerator #WHWaterSummit

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - Mar 22, 2016) - In celebration of World Water Day, the Cleantech Open has launched a new business accelerator that aims to commercialize emerging water technologies. The new program, named CTO-H2O, will be showcased today at the White House, as part of broader discussions about how to address the challenge of charting a path to a sustainable water future.

Katherine MacDonald, who heads up the new CTO-H2O program, will participate at today's White House Water Summit, which convenes thought leaders focused on water in the public and private sectors from across the United States. At the Summit, attendees will discuss new commitments to develop and implement innovative solutions that address the Administration's goals for water efficiency and reuse.

The program represents a new strategy for accelerating the nation's most efficient and sustainable water technologies, capable of securing the nation's water future and influencing the way industry stakeholders, public utilities, and water users manage water.
