In Parallel With the Data Center Market's Growth in the Country, Cisco's Leading Learning Partner in Turkey, BT Egitim, Announced Turkey's First CCIE Data Center Certified CCSI as a Part of Its Investment in ACI and Data Center Job Training
ISTANBUL, TURKEY --(Marketwired - March 02, 2016) - The increasing number of mobile device users and the business world's fast adoption of IoT and IoE concepts are expanding the data center market in Turkey. Cisco's leading Learning Partner in Turkey through Logical Operations, a Cisco Educational Services Distributor (ESD), BT Egitim, today announced that one of its veteran CCSIs, ASKIN CAKIR, became the first CCIE Data Center Certified CCSI (Certified Cisco Systems Instructor) in Turkey. Along with his CCIE R&S Certification (#35909), Askin Cakir is also the recipient of the 2014 Quality Instructor Award. The CCIE Data Center Certification will help BT Egitim increase the awareness of Cisco's ACI and data center technologies both in Turkey and in the EMEAR region.
Turkey ranked first with a 60 percent increase in the field of servers
As the 2014 EMEAR Acceleration Award Indirect winner, BT Egitim became the first Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) Authorized Technology Provider (ATP) designated by Cisco, as well as an Enterprise, Collaboration, and Data Center Specialized Learning Partner in Turkey last year, with the support of its partner, Logical Operations.
"Now, with Askin Cakir's CCIE Data Center Certification, we will be able to meet the growing demands for data center training. According to TELKODER's 'Data Center Management Report,' the total data center facility area in Turkey is 70,000 square meters. Despite state incentives and high taxes, the data center industry in Turkey has grown about 27 percent between 2012 and 2013. Today, we're facing even more demands than ever before. The CCIE Data Center Certification will open new doors, both for the people who want to pursue their career in this growing field, and for the organizations whose needs and expectations shape the data center area," said Cumhur Kizilari, Deputy General Manager, BT Egitim.
Logical Operations' CEO, Bill Rosenthal, states, "As BT Egitim's Cisco Educational Services Distributor, we are extremely proud of Askin Cakir's accomplishment as the first Data Center CCIE in Turkey. BT Egitim has truly established itself as the leading Cisco Learning Partner in Turkey, and we look forward to maintaining our close relationship with the organization as it continues to lead the way for other Cisco Learning Partners in Turkey and around the world."
BT Egitim, Turkey's leading Cisco Learning Partner, was established in 2001. The company opens its doors to everyone who wants to have a career in the IT industry, and has a well-earned reputation.
As a part of providing outstanding training solutions to Cisco's customers and partners in Turkey and the EMEAR region, BT Egitim continues to improve its services by becoming an Enterprise, Collaboration, and Data Center Specialized Learning Partner in 2015.
73 attendees who have attended training programs at BT Egitim achieved the CCIE certification. This accomplishment signifies the Learning Partner's quality and reliability, and can be attributed to BT Egitim's experienced and skilled instructor team. By having the most CCIE (7) and CCSI (17) certified instructors, BT Egitim has completed more than 8,000 individual and 4,000 corporate trainings as a Cisco Learning Partner in Turkey.
As of 2014, the company was also designated as the Authorized Learning Partner of F5 Networks, Zoom CallRec, Jabra, Ekahau, and SUSE Linux.
Including Turkey's first female CCSI, BT Egitim's instructor team consists of 17 members, which is triple the number of CCSIs at other Cisco Learning Partners in Turkey.
In addition to certified trainings and courses, BT Egitim also provides consultancy, technical support, and pre-post sales services. Today, BT Egitim's signature is on the communications, data center, and IT security infrastructures of both Turkish and global brands. In Turkey, BT Egitim serves more than 60 percent of governmental agencies and almost 70 percent of the country's top 500 commercial organizations.
The company has been recognized many times both globally (EMEAR Acceleration Award Indirect at Cisco Global Learning Partner Conference 2014) and locally (2014 and 2015 Learning Partner of the Year).
