The built-in radio controls of the SB-5000 remove traditional vulnerabilities associated with optically controlled Speedlights: physical obstacles and environmental brightness no longer have any effect on flash-to-flash and flash-to-camera communication. For those looking to control multiple Speedlights, the optional Nikon WR-R10 Wireless Controller can be used to command up to 18 remote SB-5000 units. Built-in auto ISO control options also sync with the SB-5000 to correct exposure for both the subject and background.
